Welcome to Bizzie Kidz, where every day is an adventure filled with laughter and learning! Since 2002, we’ve been dedicated to providing exceptional childcare, drawing on over 24 years of experience to create a nurturing, home-like atmosphere.
As a family-run nursery, we cater to up to 45 children, from newborns to 5-year-olds. Our convenient location on a main route connecting South Manchester to the city centre makes us easily accessible. We are proud to be OFSTED registered and active members of the NDNA (National Day Nurseries Association), ensuring the highest standards of care and education for your little ones.

Our Mission
At Bizzie Kidz Nursery, our mission is to provide outstanding childcare services in a nurturing and natural environment.
We are dedicated to creating a supportive space where children can learn through play while following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Our goal is to help every child reach their full potential, fostering their growth, development, and love for learning in a caring and enriching setting.
Our Vision
We provide exceptional childcare for every child, regardless of gender, religion, culture, or disability. Most importantly, we work in partnership with you to support and enhance all aspects of your child’s development.
Our Premises
The nursery is located in a charming Victorian house on a main road that connects South Manchester to the City Centre.
The main entrance, which has two steps, is at the front, while ramp access is available through the back door. We maintain a strong relationship with Manchester City Council, particularly with their support, development, and funding team.
Inside, there are five playrooms:
- Baby Bees for infants from birth to 14 months
- Honey Bees for children aged 12-26 months
- Flower Bees room for children aged 20-30 months
- Bumble Bees for children aged 24-36 months
- Busy Bees for preschoolers aged 3-5 years
Our Team
The Bizzie team is dedicated to fostering a nurturing, joyful, and engaging atmosphere that caters to the needs of enthusiastic and inquisitive young minds.
Our team’s primary role is to observe and support children’s play. We review CPD and training sessions each term, ensuring all staff have opportunities for further development. Additionally, every team member is a certified first aider and has undergone police checks.
We strictly follow DBS requirements and the EYFS statutory guidance on safer recruitment, ensuring robust safeguarding practices and a safe, secure environment for all children.
Our Accreditation and Memberships
Ofsted Regulated
We are regulated by Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills). Our last inspection completed in October 2022 where we were awarded a Good rating.
EYFS Framework
We implement the full EYFS Framework (as verified by Ofsted) which is the national curriculum for early childcare in the UK.
Members of NDNA
As full members of the National Day Nurseries Association (NDNA), we benefit from their extensive nationwide experience in the early childhood sector.
